Goldfinch Cardigan Yarn Along

Happy Wednesday! It's Yarn Along Day.

A day to share what you're knitting and reading these days.

I am still knitting away on my Goldfinch Cardigan.
The pattern is the Channel Cardigan by Jared Flood.
I have started the body and worked all the waist decreases and added the yarn overs for the belt loops.
Time to separate for the fronts and back. Interesting construction and a pleasure to knit.

I started listening to Sycamore Row by John Grisham on the Kindle.
I don't know why I try to listen. It's impossible. I need to read.
But I had a free audio book on the Kindle as a promotion so I tried. Nope.
Maybe some day I can listen but not with all these little people in my house.

Think I'll have to check out the library for a good book. Any recommendations?
Just read The Goldfinch (hence the name of my cardigan)

Our farm is open today, Wednesday March 5th.
Stop on by for some yarn, socks, gloves, hats, and all alpaca goodness!!!!

Happy Knitting!

  1. That Channel Cardigan pattern has been calling my name.
We have a trunk show from Brooklyn Tweed at the Yarn store where I work, and it's so beautiful!
    Loving the color of yours.
    Happy knitting!

    1. I inhaled the book. Personally I loved it but know others that didn't. It's long!!! But worth it.

    1. It's a fun sweater so far. I love all Jared flood designs. Enough to keepe interested but not too challenging!

  4. That's a book I'm thinking of reading too. No one in my bookclub has selected it so I'll have to "slip" it in between those reads. One book we read recently at book club is "The Light Between Oceans" and I do recommend it.

  6. I want to knit that sweater so bad, but am trying to finish what I've started first.
When my babies were younger I couldn't listen to audio books, but now I have all the time in the world to enjoy them. Everything has a season and your time will come, for now just enjoy reading and the noise of your wee ones. :)
