Yarn Along

It's almost farm day weekend for us. Better known as National Alpaca Farm Days around the country. We open our gates to the public for a fun and busy weekend. In addition to farm tours, we have our farm store aka "The Coop" open for people to buy alpaca made products. Some is handknit or crocheted by my sisters, myself and my mom. Other things are brought in and everything is beautiful and made from alpaca. We also carry alpaca yarn for our knitter friends!

I have been busy knitting away, so I thought I would show my latest projects.
Using up ends I made a kid hat.

I spent an hour at the soccer fields and did a bunch of end weaving and finishing.

I started another Outlander Cowl for the Coop. Hoping to get this baby done by Saturday!
I am reading Orphan Train for bookclub.

Chase snapped a picture of me with my phone. It's the only one I have of myself wearing my new sweater, so I thought I would post it on here. I've already gotten a ton of use out of it! So happy this one is long sleeved. I can wear it so much more than my green on in this pattern.

A few cowls for sale...

Bag labeling!

If I still had a VHS player I would totally take this out of the library!!!!
A favorite of mine and my sisters.

And a little certain someone got to go in the bunny pen at school today :)
Chase was sooooooo happy. The bonus of being a teacher's helper at your kid's preschool is you get to see these moments and take lots of pictures.

Ok...back to work!
Hope you can join us this weekend for Farm Day!

Joining in with Ginny for the yarn along.

  1. I love when farms open their door so people can come and visit. I wish I lived closer! Your sweater looks great. Just perfect for this time of year.

  2. I'm reeeally hoping to bring my girls this weekend. They'd get a kick out of seeing the alpacas...who am I kidding? I would, too! The weather is going to be gorgeous! And is that a Rook coffee cup? I could use some of that right about now. :)
