Only chicken people would understand why I photographed the first eggs from my girls.
It was ridiculously exciting for me. Two perfect little eggs all ready to be eaten.
We scrambled them and gobbled them right up.
And in the words of our 4 year old neighbor that ate them too, "they tasted just like eggs."
The dish is a heirloom from the couple that lived in this house when I was a kid.
It's from England and I love all the pieces.
The cutting board is made by my sister Liz and her husband Nick.
