Yarn Along

Hello! Hope you all had a nice holiday. I was very happy to have a few days off work and that meant lots of knitting time. My sore elbow and shoulder might not be happy, but I am!

I made a ton of progress on my Rose and Cross Pullover.
I modified this pattern with the help of my sister, Andee. The original pattern is very big and loose and I prefer a more fitting sweater. I added some of the mods on my raverly project page.
I'm on the bottom rib and then I need to knit the sleeves.

So far it's quick and quirky and I'm liking it.

  2. Wow, I am in love with that sweater! I have had a lot of fun playing with a little bit of Fair Isle this past year and am planning to do more soon. This one is going on my favorites along with your modifications! Gorgeous! It looks like a cozy Christmas, and I hope you have a Happy New Year!

  3. awwwww leanne the sweater is so beautiful, i love the colors!!! i could see my christmas card to you in the background of one of the pictures of chase. my favorite was him with the camera, on the beach...wow, that's a great picture!!! my second favorite was the image of your purple boots, now that's one nice pair of boots!!!!

    1. I am going to post all of the photos took that day. He loves it and as I hold my breath while he uses my camera, I always enjoy seeing the world from his view point.

  11. That's so gorgeous, I love the yoke design and the colours :) I got a kit for Christmas to make a similar top so hopefully I'll have my own one soon!
