Spring is here

It's been a while! I have an unusual tiny bit of a quiet time with work. I'm still busy, but it's not as nuts as usual. So I've had a little more time and energy to get outside, take morning walks again, knit outside and take a deep breath. I just made myself a delicious lunch of "Ginger Buttered Tomatoes with Turmeric on Toast" from the Apricot Lanes Farm Cookbook (I borrowed it from the library). It was a nice summery lunch which seems appropriate because it feels like summer here today. Sun is shining and it's 80 degrees!

We had a wonderful day last Saturday for Knit for Food (in the field) Knit-a-thon. Lots of donations and catching up with fiber friends.

It's nice to see the flowers blooming and buds on the trees. It was a hard winter here and I'm ready to put that chapter behind us! Warmer days are on the horizon.

Hope you are all well xoxox

  1. i always enjoy your images, they are artsy and random, so fun!! it is good to be a little less busy with work, especially this time of year. my brother is visiting from new zealand and is staying with my mom so we have been able to take a few day trips. we just finished 2 days of tax returns with the accountant and having the trips before facing that really helped my soul. i may look up that recipe, turmeric, is good for you and it looks yummy. i love the eggs, i remember watching the process on a video you shared. i missed saturday, i hope you can keep me in the loop. i have not lost interest, and i miss all of you but i am having trouble fitting everything in and being there for my mom!!
