Yarn Along

Happy Yarn Along Day! Sharing what is on and off my needles this week.....
Another Outlander Cowl. This time in cream colored Pure Alpaca Yarn.

New hat! This is the Cider Mill hat and I LOVE it!!!!!!
Knitted with Queensland Rustic Tweed yarn in a dark chocolate brown colorway.
The hat is intended for my husband. I accidentally felted his hat from last year, so this will be his new one.

Fall is here...sharing a few pictures of fall and new pictures of my guys.

Finished picture of the Cider Mill Hat....
This is my ten year old, Garrett modeling for me. It fit him, it fit my three year old and when my husband got home from work and tried it on...it fit him too!!!!!!! It's a perfect pattern to fit all sizes. I'm going to make more pronto for the store.

And that cutie with Garrett? Yup! That's Peanut Butter Dickens. She's adorable!

Happy Knitting!
Joining in with Ginny for the Yarn Along.

What Should We Name Her? Winner Announced!

Our new little girl was born on Friday afternoon, a day before Farm Day. So, we thought it would be a fun idea to let our visitors suggest names for her. We had so much fun reading all the ideas and narrowed it down to a top ten and a winner.

Our Top 10 Favorite Names:
Sienna
Fallon
Muneca (doll in Spanish)
Wild Child
Cocoa
Lapepita
Shady Lady
Mrs Snugglesworth
Apple Brown Betty
Peanut Butter

And the winner????
Jack Stopera with Peanut Butter Dickens

He gave us Peanut Butter and we added the Dickens.
For a nickname we'll be calling her Phoebe "PB"

For the Dickens...well, that is in honor of my grandfather (my mom's father) that passed away years ago. He always called my middle sister, Andee, Peanut Butter Dickens because she always was eating peanut butter. And this new little girl is "full of the dickens" So combining the two, we have our little Peanut Butter Dickens.

Congratulations to Jack! Come by the farm and we have a prize for you :)

And thank you to everyone that put a name in the basket. We loved them all!
