I hope all of you had a very happy Thanksgiving. I know I did. We had a great meal at Liz and Nick's house this year. Everything was excellent as always. Can't wait for the leftovers today for lunch!

It's that time of year that the Coop is in full force! It's holiday time and we have a lot of beautiful things for sale. Black Friday we have 10% off all coats and sweaters. We'll be here every Friday 11-4, Saturday 10-4 & Sundays 11-4 now through Christmas.

Yarn Along

Hello! Happy Yarn Along Day. I've been missing them the past few weeks.
I have been knitting like a busy bee, but have not had time to post.

Mostly I have been working on my Monte Rosa "Sheepy Sweater".
It's knitted with Bartlett Yarn that I bought at Rhinebeck.
It's almost done! I'm on the sleeves. Then the collar and buttonband and then block!

Thank you to everyone asking about my mom. She's doing better.
She had a gallbladder gone wrong and had to spend a few days in the hospital on iv antibiotics before they could operate. But she's all fixed and home. She's off alpaca poop duty for a while! But she said that she'll be ok. She's the toughest lady I know.

Joining with Ginny at Small Things for the weekly yarn along.

Farm Store Photo Shoot

Every year we advertise our holiday hours in the local paper. We try to get some nice pictures of one of us wearing some alpaca apparel that we sell and some alpacas. We'll use the photos for marketing, etc.

Today was the's a sampling from the photo shoot.
Most of the pictures are Liz and Smoke with a few photo bombers at the end.
Everything you see Liz wearing is for sale at the store.

 Photo bombers below...Really Mom?

Yup. That's my mom and the little boys walking through the photo shoot again.

Farm Store Hours:
Friday 11-4, Saturday 10-4, Sunday 11-4
Open every weekend through the holidays!

Little Boys, Adventures and Alpacas!!!

Fall is in full force here at the Jersey Shore! The leaves are beautiful and the weather has been very fallish :) Sweater Weather!!!
It's been 2 years since Super Storm Sandy and at this time 2 years ago, we were still in the dark. The shore is still recovering and building and things look so much better for the most part. But this post has nothing to do with Sandy. Just a thought that was in my head this week.

Spent some time with Lizzie's boys this week and thought I would share some photos of the "little boys". (there are 7 boys between the three of us and these 3 little boys are the only ones not in school full time. So they get to play a lot)

So....lots of photos of little boys, adventures to one of our favorite spots (Longstreet Farm in Holmdel, NJ) and some farm shots of the alpacas.

The picture below is a girl walking two dogs and a guy walking a pig.
