After the loss of my mother-in-law, I've been struggling a bit to get back into the swing of things. My creativity for work has been less than par. My energy has been blah. I know it takes time. So I'm trying...
Trying to get back to feeling like me. I read Buckeye and LOVED it. Knit a shawl, knit a baby sweater, started a baby sweater, started the sleeves of my Mom's Evina cardigan so she can match us at Rhinebeck, had a wonderful day with my friend Paige, ate a delicious lunch at Maeberrie Market , went to a fall festival at Allaire Historical Village, worked on my Lollygag cowl, watched my kiddo play some baseball, took Buddy for some walks, and of course worked (but that's not fun to photograph!)
The farm is opening back up for the season this weekend. Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 from 11-4. We'll be open every weekend (except October 17-18). Come visit!!!
Sharing some photos of life lately.
My goodies from the festival. Jam made by a fellow bandmate!
And beautiful pottery. The small bowl/pitcher is to make salad dressing in.
It has rough spots on the bottom to grate garlic and small holes on the sides to strip fresh herbs.
I put together my favorite reads from this year. Do you have any recommendations based on these? I have a book hangover from Buckeye and The Coorespondent.
