Summer Classes!

It's time for summer classes!

We have put a calendar together with a lot of opportunities to learn new things.
Have fun while creating something new, watch the alpacas play and enjoy the farm!
To register, please contact the instructor that is listed for your class.



 Class Descriptions:
***Bring a friend, sister, mom, cousin with you and you will both receive a discount on your class!***

Beginner Knitting Lessons:
This class if for beginners with little or no experience. Class is 2 (2hr) sessions. You will learn all of the basics of knitting, purling, casting on and binding off.
Materials included: 1 pair of needles, 1 skein of yarn and written instructions.
$65 per student  • 2 (2hr classes) Maximum class size- 6 people • Instructor: Leanne

Advanced Beginner Knitting Lessons:
You are now a pro at knitting and purling, starting and finishing your project. Now it’s time to learn more! In this class you will learn, increase, decrease, (yo) yarn over, (k2tog) knit two together, ssk. Materials are not included.
$30 per student  • 2 hr class •  Maximum class size- 6 people • Instructor: Leanne

Knitting Short Rows: Just Enough Ruffles Scarf
Short rows are a great way and easy way to create shaping in your work. We’ll be making the
“Just Enough Ruffles Scarf”, a beautiful project to learn this technique.
$30 per student • 2 hour class • Instructor, Leanne
*Homework to be done ahead of time will be given to you when you register for class.

How to Knit Cables:
Learn this beautiful and easy technique of making cables in your knitting! You will learn the basics of how to make a cable using a cable hook. More advanced cables will also be introduced.
$30 • Cable hook provided *Homework to be done ahead of time will be given to you when you register for class.

How to Knit In The Round: Make a Hat
You have the basics of straight knitting down pat and are ready to knit in the round? This class is for you! You will learn the technique of knitting in the round on circular needles. You will make a hat. Techniques learned, knit in round, ribbing, decrease in the round, double pointed needles.
$55 per student, Includes circular needles, double pointed needles and yarn. • Instructor, Leanne • 2 (1hr) sessions

Learn how to knit lace!
You will learn how to make all of the beautiful lace work pieces you have been drooling over!
Learn the techniques of reading a lace chart and how to follow the directions. YO, SSK, K2tog, and more!
$55 per student • Instructor, Leanne • 2 (2hr) sessions•  Some material needed.

This class if for beginners with little or no experience. Class is a 2 hour session. You will learn all of the basics of crochet. Materials included: 1 crochet hook, 1 skein of yarn and written instructions.

Crochet your own Basket weave Cowl:
Crochet the beautiful basket weave cowl while learning how to crochet on a diagonal. Basic knowledge needed. Bring your own crochet hook and yarn.
$30 per student  • Instructor: Liz

Drop Spindle Lessons: Make your own yarn!
Liz will teach you the fine art of spinning your own yarn using a drop spindle.
Alpaca roving and a drop spindle and written directions are included.
2 hour class • $75 • Instructor: Liz

Felted Soap
Make your own felted soap with us! We start with our handmade soap and you will learn how to wet felt with alpaca fiber to create felted soap. The soap will have it’s very own alpaca washcloth built in! This is a great class for groups of people and perfect for kids. Class is for ages 7 & Up.
1 hour class • $20 All supplies are included • Instructor :Liz

Nuno Felting
Learn the art of nuno felting with Liz. She will teach you how to nuno felt on silk scarves. This is a wonderful way to use alpaca and wool fiber in a whole other way. This class is 4 hours. We’ll stop for lunch so pack a lunch and visit with the alpacas.
4 hour class (with 1 hour lunch break) • $65 • Please bring a towel and lunch • Instructor: Liz
