Fall 2015 Knitting Lesson Schedule

Summer is coming to an end and the fall is knocking on our door.

That means it's time for our Fall Knitting Lesson Schedule!

I am excited to offer you many new classes this fall.

Of course the staple, Beginner Lessons will be available.

I also chose a few nice projects that would be perfect Christmas gifts
while teaching you new techniques.

Beginner Lessons:

 $65  Includes 2 (2hr) lessons, one skein of yarn and one set of needles, written instructions. 

This is for the person with little to no experience. 

You will learn all the basics of knitting and purling, casting on and binding off. 

Please specify what session you would like when registering.

 Session 1: Thursdays September 17th & 24th 12:30-2:30

Session 2: Thursday October 15th & 22nd 12:30-2:30

*** JUST ADDED *** Session 3: Sundays October 25th and Nov. 1st 12-2

Suki Shawl: 

$60 3 classes (4 hours total)

Suki is knit top down, starting with a garter tab cast on and knit to the lace edging. The body is written out, but the final lace edging is charted. The stripe section and final contrast picot bind-off frame the main lace.
Techniques you will learn: Garter tab cast on, yarn over, lace knitting from a chart and picot bind off.

Class Dates: Thursday September 17th 10-12 (2 hrs)

Thursday September 24th 10:00-11:00 (1 hr)

Thursday October 8th 10:00-11:00 (1 hr)

Cider Hat:
$45 2 classes (3 hours total)

The Cider Hat is the perfect hat for a man, woman, teenage or baby!

A versatile hat that has a beautiful texture and would make a nice gift for your loved ones.
Required skills, joining in the round, knit, purl.

Homework required prior to class.

Class Dates: Thursday October 1st 10:00-12:00

Thursday October 8th 12:00-1:00

Garter Yoke Baby Sweater: 

$60 3 classes (4 hours total)

This adorable baby sweater teaches you the basics of cardigan construction on a smaller scale.

Learn how to read a pattern, increase, make buttonholes, knit sleeves in the round and how to properly attach a button to your knitting.

Class Dates: Thursday October 1st 1:00-3:00 (2hrs)

FRIDAY October 9th 1:30-2:30 (1hr)

Thursday October 15th 3:00-4:00 (1hr)

Guernsey Wrap: 

$30 1 (2hr class)  • Additional instruction if needed, $15/hr

Learn how to read a knitting chart while making this luxurious knit!

You will fall in love with this knitting and wrap yourself in your work.

Required skills: Cast on, knit, purl. Homework prior to class required.

Class Date: Thursday October 8th 1:30-3:30 (2 hrs)

Boot Toppers: 

$45 2 classes (3 hours total)

The perfect gift for anyone that wears tall boots! Learn how to knit this fun project.

You will learn how to knit in the round, follow a pattern, and proper way to
attach a button to your knitting. 

Class Dates: Thursday October 15th 10:00-12:00 (2 hrs)

Thursday October 22 10:00-11:00 (1 hr)

Knitting Help:

$15/hour

Set up a class to ask questions, fix mistakes or just help get started.
