Yarn Along

A quick little post to join in with this week's yarn along.

I am knitting this hat for a lesson I am teaching. Close Cable Hat by Anna & Heidi Pickles
Knitting it with chunky alpaca yarn. Warm cable heaven!

Just started A Spool of Blue Thread. Was very happy when the library called to let me know it was my turn with the book. So far it's great. Family stories all tied together.

I am still plugging along on my Olive Basket cardigan. It's slow going but I am really enjoying it.

I finished up my socks! I made the Rose City Roller Socks
I taught a sock class and this is the pattern we did. It was a nice little sock to teach the basics without all the knitting. My students did great! I added some pompoms to the backs.
They also look pretty cute with my slogger clogs. I'm so fancy.

That's it for today. We have had a house guest for a few days so I'm going to spend our last few hours with him. It's been wonderful to have him here. He is the son of my friend that is living in Germany for a few years and he came back home to spend some time with friends and family. A pleasure to have a nice, kind, thankful boy around!

Happy Knitting.

  3. Those little socks and those sloggers are a perfect match! I love it. That sounds like a really nice book. I will have to add it to my list.
