I don't mind winter. But these few moments of springy reminders have me ready for spring and warmer weather. Pretty little flowers popped up by the barn and I got my first two eggs of the season! My chickens don't lay eggs during the winter. When the days of sunshine get a little longer the eggs start to appear.
Finally able to use the beautiful egg basket my sister, Liz made me for Christmas.
ooooooh that basket is gorgeous and the eggs are so pretty, they look like easter eggs. i don't have any iris but they sure are pretty, i think my crocus came and went and i missed them!! how nice to get some fresh eggs!!
