Babies on the brain

I spent some time yesterday afternoon assembling invitations for my baby's first birthday party.
I don't think he got the memo that he was not allowed to get big and grow up.
This baby of ours is turning into a little man. A funny, sweet, curious little guy.

I also am working on planning my baby sister's baby shower.
She also wasn't really allowed to grow up, but here she is, going to be a mom herself.
She and Nick are expecting their first baby boy in September and I am sooooooo excited!

And it's also baby alpaca season!

Last year at this time, we welcomed our first two crias (word for baby alpaca) on our farm.
Wea was born first and then Bing.
It was so exciting.
I'll never forget,
Lizzie's frantic phone call to us...
"there's a baby in the field!!!!!!!!! where are you!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????"
My mom's little kid surprised, happy, excited expression.
Watching our girls Star and Melody take care of their baby.
Nervously watching Bing learn to nurse in the HOT June sun.
Baby races
Cria kisses

We have three moms expecting their baby's arrival this month.
We pray for easy happy deliveries and healthy crias.

We have had too many sad things around here lately and it's time for happy stuff.

MomMom said hello last night.
I like to hope that Wdamo's baby girl and our dear Sanda are hanging out with her making her laugh.
This double rainbow is just the thing to help us remember them all.

Have a great week!
Leanne
