During the hurricane craziness I started knitting this hat. I have this Fair Isle knitting book with patterns in it and thought it would be an easy way to add some detail as well as use up some of my small skein stash yarn.
I finished reading The Light Between Oceans this week. It was our book club choice for the month. I would recommend it. It was a good read. Nice and simple, fast and provides you with some good questions about yourself if you were in the same situations.
I just started reading Tell The Wolves I'm Home. Too early to say, but I am enjoying the book so far.
Joining in with Ginny for the group yarn along.
If you have a chance and get Showtime, please tune in for Inside the NFL tonight!
Manasquan High School football team is being interviewed today and they will be on the show. Exciting stuff! (That's where my husband is principal and where my parents went to school, for those of you that are wondering.)
Happy Knitting!

I love your color choices, beautiful. I really can't wait to try fair isle, but am waiting until my kids are older and I can knit longer without interruption.
ReplyDeleteGood work!
I have been toying with the idea of trying Fair Isle myself, your hat looks great.
