We are lucky enough to live next to my parents alpaca farm. The neighbors also have animals. They have goats, donkeys and emus. So we do get to see critters often.
But we heard that new little lambs were just born at a nearby farm so Liz and I packed up the babies and headed out. If you haven't been to Holmdel Park, Longstreet Farm in a while, you should go.
It was a beautiful warm day and all the animals were out and about.
Barns were beautiful, the farmers were working and we had a great time just hanging out.
We got to keep that feather Mr. Peacock dropped! The farmer said it was ok.
A stop at Delicious Orchards for lunch and some groceries and a quick run into the new yarn shop.
Yeah...I may have drooled a bit...ok...a lot. They have some beautiful yarn and awesome pattern books. I'll be back for sure!
