This past Thursday some of the family went to the Monmouth County Fair.
We had a great time and I thought I would share some photos.
We had to park far away and then ride the shuttle over to the fairgrounds which was a school bus and Chase was so happy!!! He got a kick out of riding on a bus like his brothers.
Lot of fun seeing all the animals, 4H displays, a great band and lots of dancing by the little boys, funnel cakes of course and a Blue Ribbon for my knitted shawl.
It was a great evening!!!
(my knitted shawl is the Juneberry Shawl pattern by Brooklyn Tweed and the yarn is Miss Babs)
The fair is still going on until Sunday so head out if you are local!
You'll have a great time.

congratulations on your ribbon, Leanne! I didn't do the fair last year and hadn't even thought about it this year until your Juneberry post (so pretty!). I think I might enter my Leaves of Grass in the state fair in a few weeks...I haven't quite decided yet but you gave me some incentive :)
ReplyDeleteWell deserved ribbon! That shawl is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat fair looks like so much fun. I have to say that while all the babes are lovely, fun and wonderful, Chase was just born to be a show stealer. He is hilarious!
It looks like so much fun!!
ReplyDeleteYummmm, that funnel cake looks amazing! We didn't go but know I wish we had! Chase is just too cute for words and a huge congrats on your ribbon, that shawl is absolutely gorgeous!
