Normally I HATE looking for things! But one thing I do like looking for are fossils.
This was my fourth or fifth trip to Big Brook Preserve in Colts Neck, NJ.

I try to go at least once a summer with the boys. Yesterday was a good day for it! I took my youngest and two of my nephews. You don't need much...just some water shoes or boots, a strainer, something to scoop and some bags for your treasures.
We found a few things each. We probably found more but didn't know it!
Always a nice little outing. I highly recommend it to people of any age.
